The multi-stage trail running event will take place from October 16th to 18th, 2026, with Ribes de Freser as the base camp. Last year’s edition sold out in just 10 days, highlighting the massive appeal of this adventure in the Eastern Pyrenees.
The Brama Stage Run, the multi-stage trail running race that has become a landmark event in the autumn calendar, has confirmed its dates for the forth edition which will be held from October 16th to 18th 2026, once again turning the Vall de Ribes into the epicenter of a unique sporting and community experience.
The organization has announced that registration will open on March 18th at 9:00am (GMT+1). Following last year’s success, where spots sold out in only 10 days, runners are encouraged to mark their calendars to ensure they don’t miss out.
Three Distances to Experience the Eastern Pyrenees The Brama Stage Run maintains its format from previous editions: three days of competition and adventure with three categories tailored to different experience levels, all starting and finishing in Ribes de Freser:
More Than a Race: A Shared Experience Conceived as a “teaser” for the legendary Pyrenees Stage Run, the Brama stands out for its focus on community. Each stage concludes with a communal dinner, awards ceremony, and a briefing for the following day, fostering a family atmosphere among runners, volunteers, and the local community. The route takes participants through iconic landmarks such as the Serra de Montgrony, the Capçaleres del Ter i del Freser Natural Park, Vall de Núria, and the legendary Taga summit in Serra Cavallera.
With a high percentage of international runners and growing female participation, the Brama Stage Run consolidates its position as one of the most attractive stage adventures in Southern Europe.
The Brama Stage Run is organised by BiFree Sports, a company with extensive experience in organising stage races. In addition to the Brama, they also manage the Costa Brava Stage Run and the Pyrenees Stage Run, events that stand out for offering a unique experience of adventure and challenge in spectacular natural environments. As always, the support of the technical sports clothing brand Tuga Active Wear has been fundamental, as has the institutional backing of the Patronat de Turisme Costa Brava Pirineu de Girona, contributing to the success and projection of the event.
