  • Patrick Kipngeno once again reigned supreme in Japan, leading a Run2Gether On Trail clean sweep of the men's podium.
  • Philemon Kiriago (Run2Gether On Trail) moved to the top of the men's overall standings following his runner-up finish in Myoko, one week before the final regular-season race on the Great Wall of China.

MYOKO TRAIL OPENS A DECISIVE ASIAN BLOCK IN THE GOLDEN TRAIL WORLD SERIES

  • Myoko Trail (Japan) joins the Golden Trail World Series calendar for the first time, featuring a demanding 24.7 km course with 2,020 metres of elevation gain through one of the country's most iconic mountain regions and a territory deeply rooted in mountain sports culture.
  • The race marks the start of a decisive three-race Asian block, taking athletes from Japan to China before culminating in the Grand Finale in South Korea. The absence of the current overall series leaders leaves the battle for both victory in Myoko and the championship lead wide open
  • The event will be broadcast live across Warner Bros. Discovery platforms, including HBO Max, Eurosport and TNT Sports, as well as through an extensive network of international broadcasters.
  • The Golden Trail World Series returns to Japan with the debut of Myoko Trail, a spectacular new race that will traverse the slopes of the Myoko Mountain Range, one of the country's most renowned regions for mountain sports and outdoor culture.
  • Myoko Trail will kick off a decisive three-race Asian block and offer a total prize purse of €40,800, further underscoring the GTWS commitment to the growth of trail running and its international expansion across Asia.
