TÉMISCAMINGUE, QUEBEC, CANADA – Adventure racing is about to celebrate one of the most significant events in its history as the first-ever ARWS Junior Adventure Racing World Championship takes place from July 23 to 26, in the Témiscamingue region of Quebec, Canada.

The new Adventure Racing World Series Championship will see 38 junior teams representing 10 countries competing; including Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, India, New Zealand, South Africa, Spain, Uruguay, and the United States—compete in pairs across Under-18 and Under-25 categories. France has made a particularly strong commitment, sending eight pairs to cover every age group and division, while the host nation and the neighboring US also boast substantial representation.

From April 25th to May 2nd, 2027, the 11th edition of Raid Bimbache returns to the world stage of adventure racing in the magical landscapes and cultures of Northern Morocco.

Last year the race returned to the Adventure Racing World Series after a long absence and in a new location in Morocco. The former World Championship race, led by world renowned adventurer and racer Antonio de la Rosa, was met with enthusiastic support, and 40 teams from around the world tackled a spectacular course, crossing desert landscapes, and snowfields in the Atlas Mountains.

Excitement is building for the fourth edition of the Endless Mountains Adventure Race, set to take place from June 22 to June 27, 2026. Hosted by Rootstock Racing, this year’s 500-kilometer, five-day expedition brings racers to the spectacular South Shires of Vermont for a grand journey through the Green Mountain State.

From March 8th to 13th, elite adventure athletes from across the globe will arrive in the "Ring of Fire" in the Chilean Andes for the third edition of Tierra Indómita Vulcania.

Serving as the second Adventure Racing World Series (ARWS) Qualifier of the year following New Zealand's MAGNIficent, this grueling expedition race will push competitors to their limits. At stake is the prize of a guaranteed place at the 2026 Adventure Racing World Championship (ARWC) in Corsica, France.

Following a spectacular inaugural event that competitors called "brutally rewarding" and "relentless to the very end", the MAGNIficent expedition adventure race returns to New Zealand's South Island from February 28 to March 7, 2026. An Adventure Racing World Series (ARWS) Qualifier, the race will once again test international teams in one of the world's most iconic adventure racing destinations.
