Hannes Namberger from Germany (ITRA ranking: 912) has been one of the world’s top ultra-trail athletes in recent years. A three-time winner of the Lavaredo Ultra-Trail and three-time Top 10 finisher at UTMB® - where in 2024 he came very close to the podium with a fourth-place finish - he has also claimed first places at the Grossglockner Ultra-Trail, Mallorca by UTMB®, Eiger Ultra-Trail, Ultra-Trail Cape Town, and third place in 2025 at The Canyons Endurance Runs - 100K, as well as an eleventh-place finish in unusual weather conditions for him at the 2025 Western States Endurance Run.
